Welcome to the ultimate race experience at Forest City! Our course is specifically designed to cater to both athletes and spectators alike. Starting with a 1.9km swim off the main beach, with average water temperatures of around 28C, you'll be in for an exhilarating start to the race. The 90km bike course takes you on a journey through various terrains, from cityscapes to ocean views to reserved mangrove jungles, all on smooth, fast roads. Finally, you'll complete a half marathon through the futuristic streets of Forest City, finishing in the tropical beachfront setting of the main race hub.

Safety is our top priority, and one of the best things about racing at Forest City is the low traffic on its roads, which are also in excellent condition. This allows you to focus on giving your best performance and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings without any worries. Not only is our venue perfect for the athletes, but it's also family-friendly, with activities for both kids and adult supporters. And with a spectator-friendly course, your friends and family can comfortably watch and cheer you on throughout the event.

Five Reasons to Race Challenge Malaysia​
Challenge Malaysia is set in a unique township called “Forest City” located in the state of Johor which is just a stone’s throw away from the neighbouring country, Singapore.

Accessibility
Forest City is easily accessible whether you're flying in or arriving by land. With Johor Bharu Airport less than an hour's drive away and Forest City located just next to the "Tuas Second Link" Malaysia-Singapore bridge, we're only 1.5 hours away from Singapore.

The Course
Our course is designed to offer a thrilling experience for all athletes. It starts with a 1.9km swim off the main beach, surrounded by average water temperatures of around 28C. Next, you'll ride the 90km bike course through various terrains, from cityscapes to ocean views to reserved mangrove jungles on smooth, fast roads. Finally, complete a half marathon through the futuristic streets of Forest City, ending in the tropical beachfront setting of the main race hub.
Spectator Friendly
The course is designed with spectators in mind, and family and supporters can watch the entire race clearly and comfortably. From the swim at the beach to 3 loops on the bike course and 2 loops on the run, you'll be able to cheer on the athletes in a safe and secure environment.

Forest City is a family and kid-friendly venue that offers various activities and attractions for families and children, such as a water park, playgrounds, and family-friendly restaurants.
